Parks and Recreation

The Mayville Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the citizens of Mayville and the surrounding areas by providing for the recreational and facility needs of the community. The department will pursue this though a commitment to excellence, a clear sense of direction, effective leadership that guides a creative and competent work force, and a response to customer needs through trust and communication.

News from the Mayville Recreation Department

       Adult Open Gym -

       Fun with Succulents Class

Saturday, April 21st 10:00a – 12:00p @ the TAG Center. $30/person registered by Thursday, April 12. Instructor: Carroll Shirk with the Dodge County Garden Association.

Gardening Seminar

Saturday, April 28th 10:00a – 12:00p @ the TAG Center. $5/person registered by Monday, April 23 Instructor: Mary Buggs.

2018 Men’s Summer Softball League info:

  • WHO: Adult Men –18 years of age and older or out of High School.
  • WHEN: Games are played every Wednesday night, beginning May 9, 2018.
  • WHERE: All games will be played at Ziegler Park located on Kekoskee streetT
  • Teams in the league from the previous year will be given priority for the upcoming season. Vacancies after that will be on a first come, first serve basis. Team managers will be notified of their team entry and the dates of league meetings. A completed entry form and fees must be paid by the registration deadline for a team to be considered in the league. The League maximum will be seven teams.
  • FEE: $300 per team + Individual Player Fee of $2 per player.
  • DEADLINE: Registration forms and roster are available beginning March 1st and are due no later than 6:00 PM Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Rosters should be dropped off at the TAG Center or mailed to: Mayville Recreation Dept. 15 South School St. Mayville, Wisconsin 53050.

  • WHEN: Games are played every Thursday night, beginning May 17, 2018.
  • WHERE: All games will be played at the Malthouse Grounds Diamond –
    • Located on the Corner of Walnut & Breckenridge Streets
  • Teams in the league from the previous year will be given priority for the upcoming season. Vacancies after that will be on a first come, first serve basis. Team managers will be notified of their team entry and the dates of league meetings. A completed entry form and fees must be paid by the registration deadline for a team to be considered in the league. The League maximum will be seven teams.
  • FEE: $285 per team + Individual Player Fee of $2 per player.
  • DEADLINE: Registration forms and roster are available beginning March 10th and are due no later than 6:00 PM Thursday, April 26, 2018. Rosters should be dropped off at the TAG Center or mailed to: Mayville Recreation Dept. 15 South School St. Mayville, Wisconsin 53050
